UPS Runtime

Post by sz22 »

Hi,
after upgrading from v0.x to v1.1.38 (Debian linux), my graphs showing APC UPS runtimes stopped.

The DataSources are OK, in Realtime mode, they are displayed/graphed correctly, the data just not get stored in the RRA.

2018/08/11 16:51:02 - POLLER: Poller[Main Poller] Device[4] Device[APC 2200VA SmartUPS (Garazs)] Graphs[APC 2200VA SmartUPS (Garazs) - RunTime, APC 2200VA SmartUPS (Garazs) - RunTime] DS[APC 2200VA SmartUPS (Garazs) - Runtime] SNMP: v1: 10.84.4.248, dsname: runtime_qry, oid: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.3.0, output: (600000) 1:40:00.00

Data Source Items Type Minimal Heartbeat Min Max Last DS Value Unknown Sec
runtime_qry GAUGE 600 NaN NaN U NaN 61

Any ideas?
thanks, Peter

For 1.1.38, try downloading the debug plugin that cigamit created to diagnose data sources.

For 1.2, the DSDEBUG is integrated.

Debug shows:
Did the poller receive valid data? runtime_qry: U
Issue Data Source returned Bad Results for runtime_qry
The other tests are OK.

In the meantime, the query returns a valid reply, just the poller? is considering it invalid:
SNMP: v1: 10.84.4.248, dsname: runtime_qry, oid: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.3.0, output: (600000) 1:40:00.00
