What is the meaning of those lines in my graph?
It is pointed by the pencil. Same with the other graphs

Try zooming in on the timeline and it may become more apparent.

when I zoom in, those lines are gone. Only those dark blue lines are visible

If this is Cacti pre 1.x, I won't be much help unfortunately as things changed quite a bit back then.

this is Cacti 1.1.24. I knew it btw.
the lighter line is the Average of the counters and the darker one is Max

Oh, do you know, I thought they were the same color. My eyes are bad

It's the classic theme that makes me think that it was a pre-1.x, it looks so dated
