Hello guys,
We are using Cacti for many years, without any particular problem. This is our main software for networking! Very happy!
But, today we're facing a weird issue in "Graph Trees" section. On "graphs" tab, in Tree mode, can't find all the entries we have(fig.1)! While on Console->Graph Trees, there everything is alright(fig.2).
We're able to add new directories in tree (via Console), but unable to find them next in "graphs" tab! It seems something prevents them from appearing in Tree Mode! Even after clearing the browser cache, issue still persist!
Do you have any idea what can cause this visual issue? We are on Cacti vers.0.8.8b, on Linux, VMWare.
thnx

Re: Graphs-Tree Mode issue!
Did you allow the logged in user access to view those trees? Except for admin, I'm not sure it's automatic.

Re: Graphs-Tree Mode issue!
Permissions where a bit different back in 0.8.8. I'm not sure there was an explicit deny policy then.

Re: Graphs-Tree Mode issue!
Hi guys,
Today i did some tests. First I removed all users accounts, excluding "admin". Changing the descriptions of links solved the issue for the moment.
But I figured out a fact! If I want to add a new entry, it shows only links with descriptions beginning with numbers or with letters from A to M! If I add something which begins with letter N till Z, doesn't appear at all!
At Console -> User Management -> (Edit), everything is green, normal!
Do you think guys, an upgrade on vers.1.1.38 with fix this issue?
thnx

Re: Graphs-Tree Mode issue!
Actually, the problem there seems to be with CSS styling as your tree stops halfway down. If you were to remove trees a-f, you'd find the others would appear.

Any fix for this? I'm seeing this behavior in the latest build on a brand new installation (Ubuntu).netniV wrote:Actually, the problem there seems to be with CSS styling as your tree stops halfway down. If you were to remove trees a-f, you'd find the others would appear.
Re: Graphs-Tree Mode issue!
If you are still having this issue under the 1.2.0 development build, then post an issue on the GitHub page so it can be tracked properly.

Hi,
Just for update. Still on Cacti Version 0.8.8b. Only the reboot of the server managed to fix this issue. Maybe temporary, can't say!
