No host tempelate

Post by Uhaider »

Hi,

I installed cacti on SLE 12. But when I tried to add new device there was no template. Script add_device.php returns no template

Code: Select all

cli # php -q add_device.php --list-host-templates
Valid Device Templates: (id, name)
0 None
Cacti logs show

Code: Select all

POLLER: Poller[Main Poller] FATAL: No devices matching this poller exist on the system
 SYSTEM STATS: Time:299.4839 Method:cmd.php Processes:1 Threads:N/A Hosts:0 HostsPerProcess:0 DataSources:0 RRDsProcessed:0
POLLER: Poller[Main Poller] Maximum runtime of 298 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
How can I fix this? Thanks.

Also script add_graph_template.php returns nothing.

Code: Select all

php -q add_graph_template.php --list-graph-templates

Known Graph Templates:(id, name)
Result of add_data_query.php

Code: Select all

shell>php -q add_data_query.php --list-data-queries
Known SNMP Queries:(id, name)
What is wrong?

Do you actually have any templates? CAn you show a screenshot of them in the cacti web page?

You can see the screenshot of webpage on following link. There are no templates visible on webpage

That picture shows the problem, but I asked for a picture of your templates. I suspect the problem is that when you installed, you missed the option to install the templates (unfortunately these were not pre-selected in 1.1.x but will be in 1.2).

To add them manually, use the import_package.php command line script against each package found in install/templates. If you run the import_package.php script at the command line it will show you the options that are available.

Hi,

Using import_package.php command line script solved the problem of HOST templates. Thanks for your help.
