Have you installed it's dependencies before doing the bootstrap/config/make/install??

Something like:
$> sudo apt install build-essential dos2unix dh-autoreconf help2man libssl-dev libmysql++-dev librrds-perl libsnmp-dev libmysqlclient-dev libmysqld-dev
