Plugin routerconf error - email/telnet/ssh/backup

Post by gundalba »

OS: CentOS 7
Cacti: 1.1.37
routerconfig: 1.4.0
------------

Added routerconfig on recent Cacti install and finding email/telnet/ssh/backup are not working from added device.
SELinux was modified for access and verified from console that they all work fine on Cacti server but not from Cacti.
I am suspecting permission error(Cacti server installation was a looooong and intermittent process due to my other priorities  ) when these are launched from Cacti but not sure where to look.

Any pointers will be much appreciated.

RCONFIGS runs under the poller user when running the backup. From v1.4 the backups folder underneath plugins/routerconfigs should have the correct permissions. To get more information, you should try the following command:

Code: Select all

sudo -u <poller user> php router_download.php --force --debug --device 1
If that doesn't seem to give you enough info, try running

Code: Select all

sudo -u <poller user> php router_download.php --force --debug-buffer --device 1
