Plot specific traffic

Post by Cesarr »

Good Morning,

I do not know if this issue has already been discussed in the forum,

I have a Cisco router with a WAN interface with 50MB, how do I plot a specific traffic of 15MB?

Define "plot specific traffic" as that does not translate very well.

Hi,

I need to generate a graph of a specific (origin and destination) traffic, in this case, one specific client that has shapes to allow the rx and tx to a maximum of 15mbps in the 50mpbs link that i have in this interface.

Thanks for the disposition so far.

OK, so what you want there is a standard SNMP Interface Traffic graph, additionally you want to make use of the THold plugin to set a standard Threshold alert at 15mb (though you may want warnings at a lower level for you internally too).

Hi, thanks for the help, but it's not exactly what i need.

i need to generate a graph with only the consumed traffic from a specific origin and destination addresses, that flows through the monitored interface.
I have this traffic specified at one list on this equipment, and i'm looking for a way to relate this list on Cacti, so i can end with the graph with informations about this traffic only, without considering any other traffic that also goes through this interface.

To be able to do that, you need to have an SNMP source that would give that information out, do you have that?
