Cacti Install Cacti Version 1.1.36

Post by ztestz »

I can´t find what the problem is

ERROR: Your Web Servers PHP Timezone settings have not been set. Please edit php.ini and uncomment the 'date.timezone' setting and set it to the Web Servers Timezone per the PHP installation instructions prior to installing Cacti.

I tried configuring

1. httpd.conf
2. my.cnf
3. php.ini
4. main system

and nothing :cry:

Did you restart Apache after making that change to php.ini? Also make sure that there aren't other php.ini's somewhere else that it might be using instead. I know several repos out there that moved the location for their particular ini (like remi).

If this is on CentOS 6 with PHP 5.4, you also need to go find the php.ini that's in the not so obvious place of:
/opt/rh/php54/root/etc/php.ini

I have just recently installing CentOS 6 and upgraded my PHP from 5.3 to 5.4 which is the minimum supported version and this had me baffled for ages. 5.4 completely ignores /etc/php.ini if you've done the recommended method of installation via the packages.

No, your locatedb is probably outdated.

I've posted a cheat to find your ini file on another thread (not sure if its you too).

Create an empty php file with the following in it

Code: Select all

<?php
phpinfo();
When you browse to that you will see exactly where the ini file is.

P.S. Those files you moved are part of the documentation, so you should probably put them back.

Thank you,

I have restored the files.

I don't currently have a fedora installation. I will create one later and see if I have the same issues.
