[SOLVED][1.1.29] No graphing after DSP changed and RebPC

Post by Grandalf00 »

Hi! I changed Data Source Profile in Template -> Data Source for few template. After that I rebuild poller cache for one host by re-save that device ("Alternatively, if you are having problems with a specific Device, simply re-save that Device to rebuild its Poller Cache").

Graphs are created but empty, without any data.

There is an imminent release for v1.1.31 so you may want to hold for that, but v1.1.30 fixed some issues with not seeing values when on the CLOG page. I am curious what the value being return is for those entries you showed. If it is showing as 'U' that would explain why you have no data.

The retrieve data should be corect because in another pooling (1 minute) everything was be alright. This problem was beginning when I changed Data Source Profile.

I do not understand why it is not working...

For test I set:
1. Cron 5min
2. Poller interval 5min
3. Cron Interval 5min

Template has 5min data source profile. I delete all host graphs with rrd file from server and set it again. Now in log I have:

OK, the rrdtool update commands from the previous log, can you run them under the same user that the poller is running? Presumably this will be your cron user.
ie:

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/rrdtool update /var/www/cacti/rra/HOST_staamc_6431.rrd --template StaSignal:StaRxRate:StaAmq:StaTxRate:StaCcq:StaNoiseFloor:StaAmc:StaTxBytes:StaRxBytes 1516100101:-70:19500000:47:52000000:78:-92:19:363207291:49802903

Cron is running in root crontab.

I tray twice:
root@noc:/var/www/cacti# /usr/bin/rrdtool update /var/www/cacti/rra/HOST_staamc_6452.rrd --template StaAmq:StaSignal:StaRxBytes:StaAmc:StaTxBytes:StaCcq:StaNoiseFloor 1516107001:52:-69:51324743:26:365398674:83:-91

I think I fixed it... IMO problem was in AirOS template made on Cacti 0.8.x.

I re-saved all Data Source Item for this template (all position takes about 5-10s between save sucessfull) and make again graphs and now everything is OK!

Anyway thanks @netniV for reply
