Have you set the default sort to Natural or Alphabetical ? Also each branch then needs to be either set to either inherit or one of those.

Assuming you are running 1.x, the option is Sorting Type when editing the tree. You also have the same thing if you edit the tree and right click a branch. Make sure all branches are set to inherit and your default option will be used.

I'm having the same issue. When I click on the "Move Up" or "Move Down" buttons it randomly moves the tree. Also, the trees are set to sort "Alphabetically", but that is for listing the individual graphs, not sorting the tree.

Can you tell me where you are seeing the move up/move down buttons? When I edit a tree, and then click edit to lock it, there are no options for move up/down.

Console>Tree

There is a Tab for ordering, but it is working as random nature.

Well, that's interesting because on my installation with no plugins, there is no tab under Console->Tree. Can you post a screenshot?

Sorry, it should be Console>Management>Tree.

You may need to click on the "order" column to see the up/down arrows.

Ah sorry, I understand now. I thought you meant the sorting within a tree, not the actually tree listing. I'll re-read everything again now :)

Thanks!
In the meantime I've updated mySQL entries to sort correctly.

I have created a pull request which combines a fix for the sequence problem and also creates the ability to sort by name ascending/descending.
