Hello,
Is there any solution to monitor an UPS directly attached to the server running cacti via NUT service?
I have tried Eric Hall addon (http://www.eric-a-hall.com/software/cacti-nut/) but it dows not work with cacti 1.1.27 and Php 7.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Thanks.

If you look at the page, it says you can run the scripts directly to test what occurs. It appears to be connecting to another port, and if that is on the same server it should normally work. So what you probably need to do is check that there is a process listening on that port using netstat.
If there is, test the scripts from command line to see what the output is.

Re: UPS - Nut Monitor in Cacti
I'm necroing this thread.. I've been using this script for years with no issues until I added another UPS to my stack. I'm having an issue with indexing it seems. When I run a verbose query I get nothing. However the graphs I setup years ago work fine. I've tried running from shell, but it gives no output at all.. Very strange. Running in Arch with php7.2.3.
