Everything seems to work after the upgrade except the editor will not see the old maps. It shows only the simple.conf.
I set the dir permissions so that webserver account can write to the config dir. I copied in the old config files. Not sure what else to check.
Upgrade to 0.98 and editor does not see old maps

Re: Upgrade to 0.98 and editor does not see old maps
In one of the 0.97 versions, it was changed to only allow you to create (and edit) files that end in .conf - could that be it?
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

That was it. Now they show up but read-only. Not sure why but playing around with it. I assume maybe I need to reset permissions or something.

Yes - that will be permissions. The config files need to be writable by the user that runs your web server (e.g. www-data on ubuntu or debian)
