Spine poller stops working

Post by teankie »

Since last week spine poller stops working with processing poller_output.
When I use the old cmd.php poller everything is working again.
The cacti.log in debug mode doesn't bring me the correct information.
When I look with the spine poller debug logs, then I see that the poller is running but no SYSTEM STATS.
So that indicates that cacti didn't hit the poller_output to flush this to the rrd files.
Also the poller_output table shows 362 records.

When I go back to cmd.php poller then the logs shows the SYSTEM STATS entry in the logs.
And also the poller_output table has been flushed again.

I was running cacti + spine version 1.1.0 and I have upgraded to latest version 1.1.17.
But this doesn't help.
Can some help to troubleshoot this issue?

Run it by hand in read only mode.

./spine -V 3 -R -S
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.

The problem is solved. I've found 2 spine pollers.
The first was /us/sbin/spine but this one doesn't give any output. The second on at /usr/local/spine/bin/spine is the working one.
So I've change the path in cacti to the correct spine binary and everything looks oke now.
