data sources not creating for new devices

Post by jalfaro »

In the past I've always been able to simply add a new device, and create graphs for it based on the existing Cisco Router template. That no longer appears to be working. I add the device as normal, it populates all the different panels for the create graphs tab, but when I check off some of the QoS classes in the data query panel and hit create, I get these errors:

Code: Select all

Notice: Undefined index: local_data_id in /usr/local/groundwork/cacti/htdocs/graphs_new.php on line 217

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/groundwork/cacti/htdocs/graphs_new.php:217) in /usr/local/groundwork/cacti/htdocs/graphs_new.php on line 85
If I reload the page at that point, I get this

Code: Select all

Created graph: TEST - Class - class-default
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template
Created graph: TEST - Class - Premium
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template
Created graph: TEST - Class - Basic_Plus
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template
Created graph: TEST - Class - Enhanced_Plus
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template
Created graph: TEST - Class - Premium_Plus
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template
Created graph: TEST - Class - Enhanced
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template
I've reimported the cacti_host_template_cisco_router.xml and the cacti_host_template_ucdnet_snmp_host.xml but the same issues persist. The tech support page is attached, please advise.

Talk to groundwork. They may have hacked things.

It appears you are using Cacti 0.8.7g. That is an unsupported version that is too ancient for us to attempt to troubleshoot any issues with it.
