I'm using Cacti 1.1.3, Spine 1.1.3 and RRDTool 1.4, in Ubuntu 14.04. For several reasons, I can't upgrade Ubuntu, however, I'm running kernel 4.12.
I will like to upgrade Cacti, Spine and RRDtool to the latest possible versions.
Anyone tried upgrading manually, pros/cons how-to ?
Thanks!

Yea, should work like a Champ. You will have to hand install especially if you installed from apt-get. Be careful.
