Plugins not compatible

Post by gswiney »

I installed Cacti v1.1.11 on a Centos 7 server and all the plugins I try give me "Not Compatible, Legacy Plugin" in the Plugin Management section of cacti. I have installed thold, mactrack, syslog, and monitor. Any ideas as to how I can resolve this.

First, upgrade to 1.12, as it fixed an issue with installing plugins.
Second, make sure you are using the plugins from Github.

thanks for the help. I have gotten a little farther. now the plugin loads but when I try to install it from the Plugin Manager I get:

Validation error for variable id, with value of "plugin_monitor-develop". See backtrace below for more details.

Nevermind. re-read the instructions and renamed the file as directed and it now works. Thanks again for the help.
