Blanck graphs

Post by felipeb »

Hi everybody, this is my first time here.

I have the blank graphs problem. Reading this forum i found that a different version of rrdtool can cause this problem. At the beginning I had installed the rrdtools available in this file: rrdtool-1.2.15-cygwin-1.5.20.zip

If i don't understand badly the rrdtool version is 1.2.15. But my Cacti lets me choose versions above 1.3.0, so i went to rrdtool page and downloaded version 1.7.0. Then, i've chosen the right version on Cacti, but i saw another problem, wich is that Cacti doesn't found rrdtool.exe in the 1.7.0 directory. And that's right, version 1.7.0 downloaded comes without exe file!!

So, how can i fix this? My Cacti version is 1.1.10, downloaded in june, 2017.

Thanks in advance

Either your poller is not running (cacti.log will tell), or the RRDfiles are owned by the wrong user account. Please search Google using something like:

graphs not working permissions site:cacti.net

Please post your findings and change the title of the post to include "[SOLVED]" once you have found your solution. It's also handy if you update your post to include a link to the solution as this has been solved numerous times through the years.
