OK I have downloaded the github version and went through all the install steps for setting up and I still do not see the plugin in cacti 1.1.5. Is there something special I need to do to get this plugin to show up in cacti?

Is the folder named 'weathermap'? Git will call it network-weathermap by default.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.

Hi, Howie,

I installed Network-Weathermap 0.98 and it is listed as a "not compatible, legacy plugin" in Cacti 1.1.16. Any ideas? Is this just something really stupid sitting under my nose?

No, it's true. It's not compatible. It does say that right next to the download link though :-)

Version 1.0.0 will be compatible. I'm still working on it. It's annoying work though, so I keep finding other more interesting things to do.

Hi.

255/5000
I am having problems. I am installing cacti and Weathermap in a linux debian 9 "strecht". I install the plugin correctly, when I try to add simple.conf. the page redirects to a blank the window. I am using PHP7.0.

PHP 7.0 no longer includes the mysql_* database functions that weathermap < 1.0.0 uses.

If you can use PHP 5.6, it should work fine. Otherwise, you will also need to wait for the next release.

Sorry.

I installed a 0.8.8b version but it has a problem with the tree mode. I have searched a lot to correct it but I have not found the correct post. Do you know what I can do? whit a new version I can't use weathermap because debianuse php7 and the older version the tree mode failed.

Thanks a lot.

Well firstly, there's a LOT of bug fixes between 0.8.8b and 0.8.8h - not sure why you wouldn't at least use the latest 0.8.8... and secondly, you can use php 5.6 on debian: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/463 ... n-debian-9

As far as I am aware, a standard alone version of weathermaps 0.9.8 would work with the RRD files. However, the fully integrated version via the plugin, is still work in progress.
