downgrading mysql from 4.1 to 4.0.23 (cactid purpose)

Post by mrh »

hi, I've just downgraded mysql 4.1 to 4.0.23 (because cactid) and I can't get it working. I've installed also myodbc, because in the winmysqladmin screen appeared not found. Now it shows not found also but there are two dlls detected (see screenshot). When I try to start the service, the semaphore goes green and immediately backs to red.

any suggests? THANKS!

MyODBC is not required, please see your other post for the solution.
