Recreate deleted traffic graph from exsting rrd?

Post by botch »

Hi, I made a big mistake and hope someone here can help.

So I deleted traffic graphs for hundreds of switch ports, only the graphs, I still have the rrd files.
Now I'd like to recreate the exact same graphs using the existing rrd files.
Since the data source already exist, Cacti won't let me create new graphs of the same graph type, every ports are grayed out.
The only way it seems I could resurrect my graphs is trough the "Graph Management" but it's extremly time consuming and prone for errors, I'd have to select the host, the graph template, inbound source and outbond for every ports of every devices that I'm monitoring. At that point I might just erase my data source but I really don't want to lose years of data.

What can I do? What would you do?

Thanks

Recreate them and rename the files. Restoring from you last database backup is the next.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.
