Threshold and Monitor tabs not showing

I am trying to get the newest version working on a new machine as an in place upgrade for .0.8.8b.

I just removed the old thold and monitor plugins, and added in the new ones. In the older version there were tabs at the top of the screen. In the new version the tabs are not showing.

Is this an issue on permissions on the web directories or something else? I have added permissions to view the monitor and thresholds, but none are showing anywhere that I can see.

any help would be appreciated.

I checked and tables are created. both plugin_monitor and plugin_thold and all associated tables are there

admin permissions are set.

no tabs no way to see thold or monitor that I can find....

Had to be because they were old version and I upgraded without putting the new version in place first.

blew everything away, started the upgrade from scratch again and all is well.

Plus, you have to rename the folder, by removing the "plugin_"

Blowing everything away may work but it's not really a solution, have the same issue. And it's definitely displaying the tab; if you go to the full URL directly for the monitor plugin it works fine.
