Problems graphing a HP 5406R zl2

1. I'm having trouble getting a good graph from my uplink port. During daytime when the speeds are highest, the graphs drop down like there was nothing moving. Any ideas how to fix this? Please look at the attachment.

2. Any idea how to get graphs from vlans? Using the built in templates I can find the vlan interfaces but in graphs they are all zero.
