This plugin is working nicely. I have implemented this on a local environment with two servers for testing and I used Cacti 0.8.8d and multi poller server 0.8.8d.

Now I am doing testing of below plugins.

• Autom8Reportit
• Thold
• Autom8Thold
• Predict
• Acceptance
• Discovery
• Aggregate
• Superlinks
• Realtime
• Spikekill
• Exportcsv

Do you have any idea whether above plugins will work on this multi-poller environment?
I think, most of them work on data source so they should be ok. But not sure about realtime, discovery and acceptance.

Hi roxy,

I think all other plug in work on the environment. The multipoller plug in only reconfig the polling, so every poller get one id and this will distribute the devices on the pollers. But the other plugins will only work on the "master"

But you can test and report.

I want to test this great extention for cacti.
I'm running on RHEL.
in RHEL cacti use the following path:
/var/www/html/cacti/
/var/www/html/cacti/rra/
/var/www/html/cacti/log/

I intend to create a mainserver with poller1 and poller2 on different server.
my question, which folder should I put in my NAS and make both servers using the same path?

Hi,
after put the files in plugin dir my plugin GUI become empty.
in my web server log I get the following:

I have recently built a test environment with 3 VM to implement Cacti Multi Poller installation so that I can see the performance. I faced lots of issue with poller time in my current system (Cacti single poller) as number of devices large and have heavy weathermaps.

I had below system with single poller (all in local system).
Cacti Version: 0.8.8a, Plugin Architecture Version: 3.1, MySQL 5.1.73

Now I have used clone of above in a new VM and then upgrade it to Cacti Version: 0.8.8d and installed Cacti Multi Poller v0.8.8d and configured all the VMs. Now I can see poller is working properly from all VMs and graphs are populated with data.

But I am facing an issue with graph tree. Graph tree view is broken after Cacti upgrade and installation of Multi-poller plugin. I am getting blank page when I am clicking on graph tree view.

Do you have any idea how can I fix this issue or how can I troubleshoot this issue?

Can you please provide more details if you have any thing here?

Problem here is that in html source of that page details are present but the page is blank when I am trying open graph in tree view.

I think I have some sad news.
The plugin version 0.8.8h will be the last one. At the cacti versions after 1.x such a similar one is includet. So at next time I will move the plugin to github. But if there are any questions send a mail or write on this form.
