Hi,
I used mib-converter-0.9.zip tool to convert my MIB file to XML file.
Now I tried to import XML file in my cacti and I got an error : "Error: XML parse error.".
where is the issue please?

Cacti doesn't use MIB files, and converting them will do you no good. If there isn't a Cacti template for that Vendor out there already (or they don't use the standard Host MIB OIDs), you will need to manually create your own data templates and graph templates using the OIDs contained within your MIB file.

Hi,
vendor is UHP Network (UHP sattelite router). MIB files have been provided by this vendor when we talked him that we cannot monitor interface trafic on cacti.
devices are added on cacti but we don't see trafic graph we need to monitor.

How can proceed to create this template which can permit us to monitor trafic from their device?

Thanks

You need a template for the device.

If the device already supports some of the existing templates, then you can use one of those. It's common for things to support the IF-MIB stuff (SNMP - Interface Statistics).

If you want to poll custom OIDs, then you need to snmpwalk the device and create new data source templates and graph templates.

It's not a simple task, but it can be done.
