Hi Everyone,
Cacti Version: 1.0.1
Poller: cmd.php
I am looking to change my SNMP v1 community string from public to a different string (connect). I make the change in /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf on the SNMP client (replace public with connect at the end of the com2sec line) , restart snmpd, and then adjust the Cacti configurations. Everything looks fine...graphs continue populating. However, an error pops up in the Cacti logs for a specific OID:
2017-02-28 18:21:08 - CMDPHP WARNING: SNMP Error:'snmpget(): No response from mckc-008.oc.mckesson.com:161', Device:'mckc-008.oc.mckesson.com', OID:'.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0'
When I run this snmpget manually from the command line, I get data back just fine.
[ez2vdf0@mckc-023 ~]$ snmpget -v1 -c connect mckc-008.oc.mckesson.com:161 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (1589618) 4:24:56.18
[ez2vdf0@mckc-023 ~]$
Also, I can see in my Cacti sytem where this data is being successfully populated.

Looking for any ideas as to how to fix that error which only appeared after changing the community string from public to connect. While data is apparently being collected as expected, I'd like to have a clean log file if at all possible.
Thanks.
