Heartbeat in Cacti 1.0.3

Post by mhanzo »

Hi,

I create 1 minute profile below...

Code: Select all

mysql> SELECT * FROM `data_source_profiles`;
+----+----------------------------------+------------------+------+-----------+----------------+---------+
| id | hash                             | name             | step | heartbeat | x_files_factor | default |
+----+----------------------------------+------------------+------+-----------+----------------+---------+
|  1 | d62c52891f4f9688729a5bc9fad91b18 | System Default   |  300 |       600 |            0.5 | on      |
|  2 | 3c48583b2071d2dc12107d097e7c62af | 1 Minute Profile |   60 |       120 |            0.5 |         |
+----+----------------------------------+------------------+------+-----------+----------------+---------+
2 rows in set (0.00 sec)
After flush out all the RRDs, the new one still show a heartbeat 600.

Code: Select all

# rrdtool info local_linux_machine_users_3.rrd  | grep heartbeat
ds[users].minimal_heartbeat = 600
Like last version 0.8.8x I can change it inside Data Template but this one seems lost to me.

I'm using boost + spine

Thank you.

Possible Bugs ?

Change Profile via 'Choose an action' for Data Source Template is not work - the rrd_heartbeat wouldn't updated.
Require users to select individual Data Source and change it manually.

Tested with Cacti-1.0.4
