Data Sources without device

Post by jocuman »

Hello,

I was using cacti 0.8.8h and the server died, had db and rrds on backup, and I'm trying to set it up again with cacti 1.0.3.
The problem I'm having is that I have several device independent graphs, just created a data input method, data template, graph template and use that as starting point for some graphs.
Everything was working before, but now I cannot make them to show in the poller cache, I rebuilt it, but no show. I can see them created in the database in the poller_item table, but I'm not sure how I can make them show in the poller cache.

The only things updating are the ones that have a device.

Any ideas?

Thanks

My opinion would be to apple to apples. Restore to the very same version you had running, then upgrade. Some changes happened between the two. You are finding out the hard way.
