Losing the last 5 hairs - receive blank web page

I think I almost have it

I have followed 4k.Darsh instructions to a T located at Http://forums.cacti.net/about3636.html - These were great instructions by the way thanks for your patient writing

What I am running Windows XP SP2
RRDtool ver 1.0.4.9
PHP 4.3.1.0
MYSQL 4.0.2.3
APACHE 2.0.5.3
Perl 5.8.6.811
CACTI - 0.8.6.c

When I browse to the deafult page http:\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\cacti I get nothing. I don't know much about Apache but I hated IIS. Where do I go from here Anyone? I can't take the frustration anymore!!!!!!

Receive this Fatal error in my error log on Apache

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cacti_log() in C:\\apache\\Apache2\\htdocs\\cacti\\lib\\database.php on line 51

I looked in the forms and it explained how to fix this but I don't quite understand. Could someone please tell me how

From reading the post with the solution it looks like this...

Find the file config.php and move the line

include_once($config["library_path"] . "/functions.php");

before the line

include($config["library_path"] . "/database.php");

And then make sure that your DB infor is correct in the config.php file.

The code in config.php currently looks like this:

include($config["library_path"] . "/database.php");
db_connect_real($database_hostname, $database_username, $database_password, $database_default, $database_type);

include_once($config["library_path"] . "/functions.php");
and from the instructions in that post you sent - it should look like this:
