Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Here is a map of our Nexus switches... idea is that it should all be grey/green, if there is red then there is a problem. It shows, CPU load, temperatures, PSU and fan status. Then for the interfaces, grey for not in use, green for link up and red for enabled but link down.

We have two versions of this map, this one is the one we see but customers see a simpler traffic light version where everything should be green.

hahaha where everything "should be green"
Btw, there is an option on wm to make your life easier when you want to show off your maps
Make a copy of your map, set this mode, let the poller run and that's it, it'll replace most of the sensitive labels with XXXX.

Hi guys,
May I know which version of both Cacti and Weathermap plugin are you using?
I'm currently trying 1.1.2 which is ( I just figured out ) still not working with weathermap ( waiting updates from the maintainer )
Thanks!

Re: [INFO] Show off your Weathermaps.
Current git of database-refactor is working with Cacti 1.x but not for production environment I'd say. Didn't test it with 1.1.2 yet but currently working with 1.1.1whartanto wrote:Hi guys,

Re: [INFO] Show off your Weathermaps.
My ancient 3560 switches using NINK for interface status. I set the 0 0 range to black to show interfaces with zero traffic as "disconnected" - connected switches show bandwidth. Weathermap is the cleverest use of Cacti I've seen! Thanks Howie.
