Ericsson MiniLink Template

I have created the following template for the Ericsson MiniLink - Cacti v0.8.8b.

Please let me know if you notice any bugs and/or have any recommendations.

Includes
Tx Power /Rx Signal Revel
Tx Modulation
SNMP - Interface Statistics

To Install:
<<<IMPORTANT>>
First in Ericsson MiniLink Craft Software, active Extended Read Access in Security menu.



After this, copy and unzip the file

files_minilink.zip

and copy 2 files to your cacti install path.

Copy the minilink.xml file to
/cacti_path/resource/script_server/

after Copy the query_minilink.php file to
/cacti_path/scripts/

After this, just import the Host template

cacti_host_template_ericsson_minilink.xml.zip

and choose the Host Template Ericsson MiniLink, save.

I have tried your script and it works great regarding RSL and Modulation.

But as a recommendation, I need the cacti to monitor Ethernet interfaces of minilink like WAN and LAN ports, can you work out something like this?

I am trying to do that but there is nothing showing up ( attached print screens), can you edit your graph so i see how exaclty you are doing it. Forgive me but i don't have experience on this tool.

Do you use snmp version 2 in Device data??

So far we are able to have on graphs Link RSL and Modulation/capacity, but not traffic attached, print screens.
I was talking to the guy who deals with cacti and he showed me that the host TN 10.240.132.1 is not responding on that SNMP/OID:

So it is getting responses only for indexes greater than 2147410190 but not for the interfaces lower than that index. In our case LAN interface of T.N. 1/11/6 has the index nr . 2134640006.

When you have some time, I would appreciate your feedback.

pleuratb, please try ifHCInOctets (.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6) and ifHCOutOctets (.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10) in order to acquire LAN and WAN traffic.

Hello Friends!

My cacti is 1.2.10, Just imported the the files above, everything works fine.
The only thing is that I had problem is that when importing the template I did not UNCHECK the Preview Import Only checkbox, so it did not get imported.
