Hi, I'm a newbie in cacti, so it will probably look like a newbie question.
Do I have to install cacti in every device I wish to monitor? Beside activating SNMP in these devices, what else do I have to do?

Re: Monitored devices requierements
You only need 1 Cacti server, you don't install Cacti on any other device. You just need SNMP configured on each device.

Ok, so I see there are many question about "SNMP Error" message when trying to add a new device, still not any clear answers. I activated and started SNMP in my windows 10 computer, granting access to my linux. Still the message persist.cigamit wrote:You only need 1 Cacti server, you don't install Cacti on any other device. CACTI's forum moderator says that this could be an error in my SNMP's configuration, but I over checked and it's all good, my local host is being monitorated just fine.
Do I need mysql, apache and php installed in my windows 10?
