From what I've been reading I should really have some issues with Cacti 0.8.8f and PHP7, but weirdly I don't.
I've got a very simple setup so far, just monitoring a few devices at home, the firewall, a few APs and switches and so on. No problem adding devices, graphing, polling or anything that I've noticed really. I do use spine for polling and not cmd.php, maybe that's why?

The problems I had were with database code in the ADODB library bundled with Cacti, if I recall correctly.

update: just remembered I was talking about it in a github ticket... this is what I got:

[Tue Jul 19 17:05:10.112827 2016] [:error] [pid 18507] [client 10.0.2.2:56310] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'new' (T_NEW) in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 866
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
