Corrupted PNG file

Post by matt08 »

I've just installed cacti on a server (via FreeBSD ports) and all the .png files seem to be corrupted (https://yadi.sk/i/EMKW49rKubbTu), loading the image the server does not return any error.

I've tried to execute manually the command and the rrdtool generate a correct png files with all the data saved.

These are my system infos https://yadi.sk/i/XZar7cOYubbcN

RRDTool version:

Code: Select all

root@starbug:/ # rrdtool -v
RRDtool 1.6.0 Copyright by Tobias Oetiker <tobi@oetiker.ch>
Compiled Aug 29 2016 21:22:39
Can you tell me which other debug option can I add to understand why the png seems to be corrupted?

The image most likely isn't "corrupt" per say, usually the RRD file didn't exist because Cacti is not getting data to put in it, so it can't create the image. Instead, check your Cacti log file and see if there are any errors about polling the devices, etc...

Thanks for your reply, I found the issue!
There was a new line after the PHP closing tag in the config.php (bad copy/paste) :)
