Email not working with Threshold

Hi Forum

Some how i managed to install and configure cacti with Threshold plugin, I have given all the mail configuration details and still it's not delivering and bouncing back to local.

here is my configuration:






how can i solve this issue?

You selected sendmail, so 1/2 those other options at the bottom don't apply to you. Have you properly setup sendmail to be able to send email on your server? You may check its logs to see if it is properly sending emails or having issues. Or if you have any external mail server (you seem to, since you filled in the SMTP Options), you should try selecting SMTP instead.

i have enabled SMTP and our external mail server is microsoft exchange.

and it's not going through

So you have the error !
The end server is not supporting the authentication user/password you provide.

Check on your server side, not on cacti.

HI,

finally my test email is delivering to my email through external exchange server.

But i have created one threshold with "Alert Emails" to my email and it's delivering to local cati user account's mail.

and the mail content as below:
