Extra backslashes being added to aggregate graph title

I'm running Cacti 0.8.8.f and the Aggregate b1.01 plugin I'm just working through some Aggregate graphs and I'm finding extra backslashes being added to the titles which seems to cause an issues with it being able to create/render the rrd. I get more backslashes added everytime I hit save.

I've done some searching and no one specifically mentions the Aggregate plugin code being of issue.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so how do you go about solving it? It's rather tiresome having to delete the spurious characters.
