Graph not plotting

Post by jamiehancock »

Hi,

I have created a new graph using an OID for memory usage on our FortiGate firewalls. If I use SNMPWALK from the Cacti server using the OID I receive an integer so I know it is working.

I have enabled Graphing Debug Mode and it all seems fine, see the file attached.

Please could someone help?

Thanks for the reply Micke2k.

Which log? The debugging information can be seen in the attachment.

The cacti log. Please set it to high or debug under settings.

Ahh, I understand, sorry for being silly.

I get this information in the log file.

06/20/2016 12:45:36 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[47] DS[1581] WARNING: Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result: U

But when I conduct an snmp walk using the same OID it returns a value?

Look closely to the OID. The one you are looking for has a .0 at the end.

If you try a snmpget (instead of snmpwalk) you will also get an error if you do not add that .0

Solution: Add .0 to your OID in Cacti

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. It worked for two of my graphs. Now, I've added two more but they aren't graphing. The Cacti log comes back with the correct integers?

Your max value is set to 100. Change it to U. This should solve your problem

I'm not seeing the NAN values but I'm getting 0 instead?
