Staying Logged in all the time

I am working on setting up a new domain and they have been using Cacti in the old domain to keep track of an ASA5505. After setting up a new Ubuntu 14.04 server and getting Cacti installed and the users all configured, I have only one issue. In the old system the single IT user was never logged off the web page in his Win7 Pro using Chrome. He was able to stay logged on to the page for weeks at a time. I am unable to configure the new install with the same config. I have done a little searching and I think it has something to do with a Linux setting but I'm not versed enough to know what it might be or how to ask the correct question to find the answer.

I'm hoping we can answer the question so it will come up in the next persons search. Thanks
