PIX Query variables and CPU stats

Post by samuri »

I'm collecting data from a series of PIX firewalls which for the most part is working fine. I have two questions regarding this though.

I want to label each of the interface graphs using the interface name but the query variable doesn't seem to be working. Querying any of the variables given below just displays the string |query_ifName| for example a...

......cut

I've now partly resolved that issue.
However, the description name seems to be getting cut to 15 characters, any idea how to extend this to about 30 characters. I'm assuming it's one of the mysql attributes?

Secondly, the CPU usage for each PIX doesn't appear to be generating any data, and clues to help resolve this would be greatly appreciated. I'm not even sure where to start with that one.

Thanks.
Jon.
