Hi,
I try to migrate my cacti cacti server from 0.8.7i / W2003-R2 32bits => 0.8.8h / W2012R2 64bits.
I follow all steps:
-install cacti package
-export/import SQL DB
-copy rra, ressource and scripts
-schedule poller task
All seems good but graph still don't update.
I lunch the poller and found a lot of errors, for example: ERROR: opening 'C:\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\rra\xxxx_sdsl1_discards_in_4358.rrd': No such file or directory
I'm suprise to see that the path is set the c:\Apache2 instead of c:\Apache24.
I check path are good in cacti settings (see attachement)
Any help will be usefull

Re: Cacti and windows upgrade, apache24 problem
you restored your old db, which is why the paths/etc are all wrong. Once you fix those, things should be much better. Probably going to need to double check some settings via mysql (cacti.settings).
Also migrating *.rrd files from 32 to 64 bit isnt supported. you're going to need to dump each rrd to xml and then reimport. Google it. there are various scripts out there to assist.

Hi BSOD,
you are right, I've:
* correct the web-root path before importing the SQL backup on the new server
* follow this thread http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=48466 in order to convert my rrd file on 64bit new server
All work fine, Thanks a lot
