Default Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) broken no DEF:

Post by DwayneDibbley »

The default Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) seems to have goten broken somehow, removing all graph items and re adding does not fix the issue ? if i add item 1 select datasource as interface - traffic - (traffic_in) pick a color select aera and apply cdef turn bytes into bits, if i them debug an existing graph that uses this template rrdtoold reports:

RRDTool Command:
/usr/bin/rrdtool graph - \
--imgformat=PNG \
--start=-86400 \
--end=-300 \
--title='CO-C4948-01 - Traffic - Po10' \
--rigid \
--base=1000 \
--height=120 \
--width=600 \
--alt-autoscale-max \
--lower-limit='0' \
--vertical-label='bits per second' \
--slope-mode \
--font TITLE:10: \
--font AXIS:8: \
--font LEGEND:8: \
--font UNIT:8: \
CDEF:cdefa='a,8,*' \
AREA:cdefa#FF3932FF:'Inbound'
RRDTool Says:
ERROR: invalid rpn expression in: a,8,*

no DEF: or area hence the CDEF error?

ran fix database with no errors,

any ideas on how to fix all 700+ graphs or where to look?

Thanks again

OK restored the DB to last working version, so graphs are working again just mixed from the same template?

heres a shot of the graph template:

heres a correct graph:

heres an old not changed graph:

sql of old graph items:

question should there be a hash value in the db, and how do i get all graphs based on this template to update?

Thanks again
