Graph data only saving for 1 week

Hi all,

Have an interesting issue, my graphs only retain one week of data. Not sure why. Any ideas?

Check Data source template for which RRAs is enabled.

Associated RRA's under Data Templates?

Hourly (1 minute average) is the only one selected (I have one minute polling). All other should be selected as well?

Here's my RRA set-up


Hourly (1 Minute Average) 1 10080 14400
Daily (5 Minute Average) 5 25920 86400
Weekly (30 Minute Average) 30 9000 604800
Monthly (2 Hour Average) 120 2250 2592000
Yearly (1 Day Average) 1440 797 33053184

My question now is what if I want one minute intervals over say, a month? I believe what this is telling me is that the one minute resolution is only kept for a week, and since no other RRA's are selected it doesn't know what to do with the old data.

Yes select the other ones aswell.

Thanks for your response. The website looks like it'll have what I need. I know the one minute polling is set-up like he describes at least.

Nope, I had already set it up like he described, so no change. Sigh...

Do you realize that any changes to the RRA settings are NOT updated in the existing *.rrd files? you'll need to either delete them or manually run 'rrdtool tune' command on each to update their settings. Possibly why you're still only seeing a week of data.

The only thing I changed was associated RRA's w/ Data Templates. RRA settings themselves didn't change.

I tried to use rrdtool tune, but doesn't seem like its doing anything at all.

I have the same problem.
I made the RRA settings for 1-minute polling before I've created any graphs so 'old rrd-file' can't be the reason.
Most of the graphs are working fine except the ones where I made the data and graph templates for myself. They "stop" exactly after 1 week.

Any idea?!
