New CACTI install onto WinServer 2012R2, but can't login.

CACTI version = 0.8.8f
PHP version = 5.5.30-nts-Win32-VC11-x64
RRDTool version = 1.2.30
MySQL = 5.7.9.1
Net-SNMP = 5.5.0-2.x64
Web Server = IIS 8.5
OS = MS Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (as a VM running under a Server 2012 R2 Datacenter)

Finally got CACTI installed on a Windows platform. When I went to the site for the first time (i.e. http://localhost/cacti), I confirmed that it is a "New Install" and confirmed the path to everything (all "green" except for the RRDTool which I have to change to c:/rrdtool/rrdtool-1.2.30/rrdtool.exe). Then I got to the "User Logon" screen. If I type anything other than "admin / admin", I got the red error message "Invalid User Name/Password Please Retype". But "admin/admin" just bring me back to the "User Logon" screen--no error. I even went into MySQL and change the password to user "admin" to "password". So now, "admin/admin" give me the red error and "admin/password" just get me back to the "User Login" screen. My cacti.log file is empty.

Verified that the following is working:
php -m
snmpwalk
mysql
IIS

I saw a previous post for the same error with Win7 but didn't see any resolution.

Is this post before or after the one you did in the installer thread with success but broken graph images?

This was before running the Windows installer. I followed the Windows install instruction and got this result. I am able to login when installing via the windows installer 0.8.8g.
