I released, somme weeks ago, a cacti template (and its associated scripts) dedicated to monitoring and capacity planning of the EMC VPlex storage virtualization platform. The template has been made on Cacti 8.8f.

Nevertheless, here is a quick start for cacti specialists, and in English (my poor English
).Untar the scripts directly in the <path-to-cacti>/scripts/vplex directory.
Then, import the template to you cacti instance

I used an hardcoded field to be able to pass specific argument of the director name (vplex concept) to the scripts. Use the control station hostname in the hostname field. Use snmp_username to indicate the director name in the N-N-X notation.
For instance, if you want to monitor the VPlex director 1-1-B, use :
hostname : fqdn or ip for the cluster-1 control station
snmp_userrname : 1-1-B
and that's it.
