Graph Title (--title) field randomly change values

I've been using CactiEZ v0.7 for the last couple years. But I've noticed lately that the interface graph titles are choosing the wrong format. I've been using the title variables "|host_hostname| - Traffic - |query_ifName|" under graph templates -> Interface - Traffic (bits/sec). Now the newly created graphs aren't using that naming format. Possibly some update for linux changed the behavior?

Here's how I can re-create the issue.
1. I go to a Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) graph listeed under any device.
2. Under Supplemental Graph Template Data - I change the "Title (--title) field to the correct variable (it defaults to "|query_ifAlias| (|host_description|; |query_ifName|)" for some reason).
a. The new variable is "|host_hostname| - Traffic - |query_ifName|" - hit save
3. The Graph changes to an "IP variable - Traffic - ifname" in the graph list, I check the box next to it, and at the bottom select "Reapply Suggested Names." I press go, and select continue. When the graph list refreshes, the graph in question only shows the interface description.
4. I click on the renamed graph list and the "Title (--title)" field shows the "|query_ifAlias| (|host_description|; |query_ifName|)" variables for the input.
5. This happens for all devices I've tried for steps 1-4.

I think I figured out my issue. I went back and looked at some of the other graphs that looked correct. They had the variables:
|host_description| - Errors - |query_ifName| - (|query_ifAlias|)

So I guess at some point either the defined variable for the traffic graph template changed, or the |host_hostname| variable stopped working? I'm leaning towards the defined variable changed, although I don't know how or when or by whom.

Anyway, I changed the "Interface - Traffic (bits/sec)" graph template to use "|host_description| - Traffic - |query_ifName| - (|query_ifAlias|)", unchecked "Use Per-Graph Value (Ignore this Value)" and then all the graphs using that graph template updated their names/values. Everything is good to go now.
