/proc/net/ip_conntrack shows only ipv4 (if nf_conntrack_ipv4 loaded)
/proc/net/nf_conntrack shows all proto (if nf_conntrack_ipv4 and nf_conntrack_ipv6 loaded)

Sorry, I don't use CentOS 5 and don't know about default repo in there.

is it possible to make a version of the cacti templates to work with new snmpd?

The new snmpd no longer allows exec, and extend has a different format which doesnt work with the templates.

I made a new script for cacti to use instead of the existing php script, which works on extend instead of exec in snmpd.conf.

I can share it if anyone needs it including the OP.

Hi, I would like to see how you implemented snmpd with extend.
thanks,

I am fairly new to cacti and have installed 0.8.8b for the sole purpose of using it with the Conntrack tools.

I have the nf_conntrack_tools v.4 installed and working. I can manually poll the snmp results from the cacti server using snmpwalk but I cannot figure out how to setup cacti to poll the server. I imported the conntrack template and have followed the cacti documentation for setting up a new host, but when I use the netfilter host template, it doesn't populate the data query section. Do I need to manually create a data query? If so, do I use the conntrack xml file for that?

Thank you in advance for any pointers anyone can provide.

Well, I figured it out. I don't need the data query since I have data input methods defined. Turns out the root of the problem was poller.php was commented out in the cron. <forehead slap>

First post has been updated!

Attached new snmp_execscripts.php for new versions of Net-SNMP with "extend" only option.
Replace snmp_execscripts.php on new and change "exec" to "extend" in snmpd.conf

Great job, red_neon!
As for the SNMP extend issue, I just followed your install steps on an Ubuntu server 16.04, and didn't use extend, but exec, and everything is working.
I didn't get the point regarding the exec X extend issue.
