Last Step of Install

Anyone seen this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xml_parser_create() in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/xml.php on line 31

I get this at the final step of the install..

I installed the php-xml mod and it's working now

unfortunately , my php havn't the module php-xml installed .
I have a Mandrake 10.1 and i'm searching to the precise way to install this module php to avoid this message when i install cacti .

urpmi php-xml

that should do the trick.

urpmi is the mandrake tool used to install rpms from CD, or web sites.

I highly recommend you look at http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ since it will make it easier to update, upgrade and install almost anything you want.

Hi! i also incountered same error during the last step of installation, i already did as suggested to install php-xml. but still i get same fatal error . im using mdk 9.2.
any clues?

I have now installed cacti in mdk 9.2, you just have to install php-xml, if after installing it those not work you have to reboot your system. it works for me.
