Replicating devices, graphs & templates to new server.

Post by kiranbbnl »

We have a running Cacti server which is running perfectly.
Now, I have built a new cacti server for our network, and all the devices and graphs have to be replicated exactly to the new one. Is there any way it can be replicated completely? Avoiding time to create each devices manually?

Copy over the cacti directory and restore the cacti database. Make sure to have the permissions right and the cronjobs setup.

I recommend having the 2 instances run in parallel for some time.
