[SOLVED] Problems with thold plugin

Hi, i'm having serious problems with thold plugin. It just doesn't work. My cacti install version is 0.8.7g with latest stable PA. My thold plugin version is latest stable available.
All thold mysql tables are set correctly and thold plugin is fully enabled.

Whenever I want to add a new threshold, i do: Console[TAB] -> Threshols -> Add
Host, Graph an Datasource are correctly chosen. When i click on CREATE button the next page appears correctly (graph displayed, datasource, etc).

The problem is that setting parameters and saving them does not lead to the newly created threshold to appear on threshold list. Nothing happened. 'thold_data' table still empty and no error message on cacti.log. But, there is a message error on /var/log/httpd/error_log any time i click on CREATE or Save button regarding thold plugin:

ERROR: Usage: rrdtool last [--daemon <addr>] <file>

Please, there is no way to make thold plugin work. Am missing something? Appreciate any help!

Ok i've found the solution.

1) I did find the solution when i upgraded to the forked version 0.4.4-43 (http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=41781 and http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=43722)

2) Just replacing the old '<cacti_install_dir>/plugins/thold/' dir to the new version and applying thold.sql script (ATTENTION!!: i've applied this sql script SINCE i've never used thold plugin, so if you do use thold plugin PLEASE BACKUP ALL THOLD TABLES DATA before doing this!!)

3) Restarted httpd server and logged in again on cacti. Re-instantiated the thold plugin in Plugin Management (Configuration)->Install plugin icon (do uninstall first if the old version was activated)

4) When i clicked the Thold Tab a NEW MESSAGE appeared: "THOLD plugin was not compatible with MySQL STRICT MODE".

Pfff...I ever force, when possible the STRICT transactional mode on MySQL instances. On my.cnf (linux) file, there is a option:
sql-mode="STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,(...)".

You have to remove STRICT_TRANS_TABLES and restart mysql server service.

Try again and you'll see everything working as expected...

BTW: Obviously this is a thold bug.
