fping differs from ping in that you can specify any number of targets on the command line, or specify a file containing the lists of targets to ping. Instead of sending to one target until it times out or replies, fping will send out a ping packet and move on to the next target in a round-robin fashion.
yes it is faster only if you have a list of hosts. but in our scripts (in Cacti) we have only one target. so what's the difference? why should setup additional program?
I suppose you have two problems.
The perl scripts will need /full/path/to/perl in their Data Input Methods. Then php -q rebuild_poller_cache.php
The other one: Please try to run snmpget against that OID/version/cummunity from command line to check the reponse of your target

hello, I use the perl script without changes, as it was originally and the original xml and at the beginning I did not get anything in the graph (just came out, NAN). But when I went to create the graph, in the space that says "hostname" I placed the ip of the computer and the graph started to work
