First off, i want to say that this product absolutely kicks major ass. Its the best front end for rrdtool that i've ever found. Not only does it make adding graphs, items, etc. intuitive, it also uses a very nice interface.
Many thanks!
Now, onto the problems.
I'm using the SNMP interfaces menu item and i have two cisco routers that i'm trying to nab data from. Some of the interfaces have the same name, and this is causing the problem.
The first router went in without a hitch and worked beautifully.
However, when adding the 2nd router, and i try to make a graph, thats when the problem happens.
If i make a graph and keep cacti using the default setup, ie:
Traffic Analysis for <data_source_name>
traf_serial00
It works. But, it uses the traf_serial00 from the first router. Thats a problem, it means that we cant monitor anything in the 2nd router that has the same name as the first router.
When trying to change it, cacti fails and will not graph it. If you change traf_serial00 to say, traf2_serial00 -- it will not work.
Anyone have any ideas?
BTW, running 0.6.4

Correct me if I am wrong; but it sounds like you are having trouble renaming the duplicate data source names.
I was able to take two identical Cisco 2600 routers and gather data from both of them. When clicking on 'Make Graph' I just entered two different names for each router. This method seemed to work for me.
However; if you want to change the data source names afterwards you must change the name and make sure to check the 'Update Changes in .rrd File' checkbox.
